01 — Open Positions
Recruiting for Fall 2025.
CAAI is accepting new members for the upcoming academic term. Two tracks are open, and both place you on a live project rather than a training exercise.
Undergraduate Research Interns
Juniors and seniors with Python experience and a genuine interest in AI, working alongside a mentor on implementation and experiments.
02 — What we look for
Programming ability and research patience.
- Python, fluently. You should be comfortable writing and debugging your own code, not only running someone else's notebook.
- PyTorch or TensorFlow. Enough familiarity to implement a method from a paper and train it.
- Research aptitude. Reading papers carefully, forming a question, and staying with an experiment when the first three runs fail.
- Follow-through. Projects run for months. We care more about members who finish than members who start fast.

Send your background, your programming experience and what you want to work on. Anything you have already built or written helps.
Complete registration
Accepted members confirm their place with the registration fee, then get assigned to a project and a mentor.
